ABOUT ME AND THE TALES FROM HOPE STREET BLOG
Roy McDonald has always harboured ambitions to be a writer, broadcaster and/or presenter.
He has a face for radio, and even undertook a radio presenting and production course a few years back!
He has managed to break into television and has become a Supporting Artist (Extra) - (blink and you'll miss him!)

However, my career working in public transport and writing countless reports, hasn't allowed much of an escape for creativity, so please indulge me with this blog.

During season 2017/18 I began submitting articles for inclusion in the multi-award winning matchday programme of Prescot Cables FC. I am immensely proud that these have appeared in print.

[For those that don't know, Hope Street is the traditional name of the ground of Prescot Cables FC]

Tales from Hope Street will contain versions of my (sepia tinted) writings for the programme, plus any other pieces that I may, occasionally, pull together on football related subjects (or anything else for that matter).
Feedback on my stuff would be very welcome and, don't forget you can always buy me a coffee at
